Hi Kristina, we went through the same thing looking for solar Christmas lights. I finally gave up and opted for a string of LED lights. They use very low voltage and even here off-grid, (we're totally solar) they didn't use enough juice to even worry about. If you so find some solar ones that are made in the US please let me know, I'll do likewise. Good luck!

We have some solar lights that you use to line your walkway. I think there were 8 of them in a pack. We got them at Big Lots.
In my other post, I talked about living in a teepee years ago. We had almost the same solar lights. Took them out during the day and brought them in at night. All together, they had enough light to see around the teepee. Put one light in the bathroom and it was sort of like a nightlight.
I would like solar Christmas lights but if they don't work very well, then don't want them. The trick would seem to be how would you know beforehand?? If they don't work, take them back to the store??
