Same as Denise, storms all last night and all day today. Flash floods around but we're on relatively high ground.

The last four days have been absolutely beautiful. Temps in the high 80s, just a light breeze, but the sun is out and by mid day it is hot!

Here in Southern Indiana, sunny and, I believe, the warmest day we have had this year (90 was the high I saw). That being said, the breeze this evening has made it really nice!! Blowing some storms in tomorrow, though.

We finally got some sunshine today, and lovely warm breezes. After a week of all cloudy days it was a blessing!

Amy, I'm not sure about other areas but at my little spot, after almost floating away Saturday before last, it's been cool at night and hot in the daytime with 'feels like' temps around 105. Wildflowers that had begun to bloom and grasses are now turning crispy and the ground has been hard and dry for about a week. We've had no more rain here, but could sure use some now. Thanks for thinking of us!

Raining hard since early hours today. Looks like it will continue throughout the day. The garden likes it, the chickens are happy...lots of worms, but the goats don't like having to remain indoors.
Oh well, can't please everyone.

A little too warm, in the 80's. Would like it more in the 70's, but can live with it. At least it's not humid.

Getting a lot of rain in the Texas Hill Country. Not a down pour, but a steady rain. More is on the way due to the tropical depression in the Gulf of Mexico.
Temperature is around 80.

Rain, rain, rain. Had another 6 1/2" of rain Saturday afternoon through Sunday morning, which notified me of another leak. Now 'Bill' has come to visit and, I could be wrong but...I don't think this sucker will float!

Rain, rain, and rain. did I mention rain? The rivers (both Mississippi and Missouri) are flooding and it was windy tonight, some power outages. Lots of lightning. At least it's going to be cooler tomorrow. Nothing worse than heat and humidity.

Still no rain here in the Texas Hill Country. Hot, hot, hot. Temperature is in the low 90s. I sure am looking forward to the fall.

It is just plain HOT here in the desert. Supposed to cool down during the Hydroplane Races this weekend, but only into the 80's. I can't complain though, keeps me inside quilting. Next weekend I hope to be near Cle Elum at DBF's lake. It is so lovely and quiet there.

Hot here! Just across the Red River in OK they are under a heat alert. Won't be long and it will inch it's way into my part of TX. Feels like a an alert is already here. I watered front yard plants by 5a.m. Will have it all done by 6:30. Won't stick my head outside again except to care for the chickens.

Sara, we do have an alert here in the HIll Country. It's supposed to get to 98 today. It is dry, hot, and little wind. We are watering the garden early, and by afternoon it is dry again.
Stay cool!

Yes, Sara. Thankfully we never got high water, just a lot of rain. I'm not sure where Paris TX is, but if it's around the Wimberly area I hope y'all didn't get flooded.

Marly, Paris is in northeast TX. I'm about 30 miles from the Red River the boundary between TX & OK. and 100 miles due east of Hwy 75.

Thanks, Sara. I checked on the map and there it was! We've been in the Hill Country for two years now. I'm just beginning to locate certain areas. I'm still having a hard time with how pronounce some of the names of the cities. LOL.
It was HOT early today. Temps up to 98 today.
