Beautiful Fall days. High of about 80 degrees. Some wind and light rain. We were eating at a restaurant in the outside dining area when that happened.

Extremely wet and windy here yesterday and today. It's a good weekend for catching up on chores and craft projects.

Cheers! ~ Marilyn

Saturday was the wettest Saturday in September--setting a record. In fact i think the whole month of September set a record for the wettest.
We checked the the Skagit, Pilchuck and Stilliguamish Rivers yesterday and they are all up. Flood watch in effect. MB

From the other side of Washington State, we have had some rain, but no records made. However, I just talked with my neighbor and she said the wind blew a gale about 2:30 a.m. I could tell with all the leaves on my back yard. Guess I must have slept through it. We have a high wind warning until 11 p.m. today.

I'm ready for some COOL weather. I want to see frost in the morning and hear the leaves crackle beneath my feet. It still feels too much like summer. that said, the sunlight is shining at a different angle than it did during the summer. and the huge flocks of starlings are starting to reappear. The crickets are invading my basement (where they'll eventually die) and the mosquitoes are pretty gone. The apple crop is doing great, as are pumpkins. but i miss my old friend Jack Frost.

The weather is now cold enough for sweaters. I didn't see my breath yet. It is just a matter of time. I saw some really beautiful trees turning red against the green of the trees which have not turned. My apartment is cold. The heat in this place is not turned on until the 15th. Soon the winter comforter will be on the bed.

The weather is beautiful here today in Kentucky! Mid 40's this morning when we got up...has gotten up to 62 as of noon...beautiful sun shiny skies...no clouds in the sky...none expected for several days so the weather reports says...beautifully colored falling leaves and a bit breezy...if there is such a thing as a perfect Fall day this would be it...

Hugs!

The weather is lovely here. The air is cooler inside than it is outside. The sun shines in that clear way it does here in the fall. The leaves are turning beautifully and I have saved several in one of my dinosaur books. I have plans for them.

I don't think we in the USA should complain about the weather. We could be living in India with that terrible cyclone.

It was a beautiful fall weekend in the Midwest. The trees are starting to turn and it's been in the low 70's for a high and the 40's at night. I love this time of year.

Today I detected a brush of polar air today. It chilled my cheeks and made me want to pull my color up to my chin.

Been raining/misting for two days, highs in the low 50s. We are supposed to get our first freeze this weekend!

Today was a good day for walking. Sunshine, slight breeze, mild temp. Yes, we also could get flakes of snow on Sunday.

It's foggy here in the Seattle area. Probably won't burn off any time soon, but one can hope. I love it when the sun comes out of the fog. Good day to try out a new lens on the camera though!

Today was another beautiful day. It was cool, perfect for outdoor activities. It may get down into the 30's tonight and later this week. I love it!

Cold with hints of snow this morning. Surprisingly cold this afternoon. Some wind. Finally had maintenance come in to help me close the rest of the windows and storms. I am all snug for the winter.

We made national news tonight for our two week fog fest going on here in western Washington. I'm 500 feet up from sea level so I do see the sun every afternoon. Fog is back by sundown. Yuk. They say we're due for another week. Don't know what's going on with our freaky weather. My garden is still growing. Enjoy the sun when it comes out! Happy to be on this earth.
