Kind of starting to think about Christmas -- I need for the weather to cool off a little. Two years ago we decided that we would have a handmade Christmas between Missy's family and ours. In October we draw names and each gift has to be handmade and can't cost more than $10. This even includes the kids. The last two Christmases have been the most enjoyable I think we've ever had. We work very hard to take the commercialism out of the holiday and keep things really simple so we can focus on the true meaning.

I have to say that Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. Love that more than Christmas. Love the idea of cooking a big meal and having a house full of people to enjoy it with. This time of year I'm thinking more of fall and autumn decorations.

Nance -- I collect old postcards. I would love to barter with you for some from France!

Greetings, Kay! I will be flea-ing certainly during the next month and will keep an eye out for interesting vintage cards.....could you give me an idea of a theme, if you have a favorite theme? This is too cool; like having your own personal shoppers! Take care, Nance

Nance -- anything vintage will be just fine. I especially love flowers -- rose, lilacs, violets, etc. Thanks for doing this. Let me know what you want to trade.
