I'm thinking of cutting back on my soda consumption. I am not a fan of coffee, though I have tried to like it. I'm trying to find teas that I like. I'm not a plain tea fan. I like fruity flavors without an overbearing tea flavor.
Picky much? lol

Suggestions are appreciated! Thanks :)

~jess

I really like the different green teas with other flavors: berry, raspberry, peach, goji pomegranite. I'm not too crazy about just plain tea either!

I sell Watkins and they have recipes putting the different flavor extracts in your drinks. Try them!! That will sure be your own recipe. Mix and match the flavors til you come up with one you like best!

I have a few on hand if you want to try them. Anise, cherry, lemon and I think a walnut. Just email me if you are interested.

I add dried apricots when making a cup of tea with one teaspoon of sugar. When I finish drinking the apricot flavored tea, I get to eat the plump apricots.

Celstial season's Mandarin Orange is a great one. Some of the other companies have a similar one, but to me they aren't as good. I like a bit of honey in it too.

Have you tried Good Earth Original? It's so yummy and is naturally sweet without sugar and is great hot or cold. We love it!!!

Celestial Seasonings has a great cinnamon herbal tea. I believe it's called Bengal Spice. I'm a big fan of plain old tea but I also enjoy Constant Comment which has lots of orange tones. You can also make your own by brewing some tea and peeling an orange and droping the fresh peel in your tea as it steeps. yum!

We love mixing up flavors together. I just found a new product at the store. Its made by Lifestyle (www.LAteas.com) Awareness (Chlorine Free, printing is vegetable based ink, 100% recyclable packaging, and certified organic ingredients. I am trying a their "Stress Balance" tea this week.

I'll second the Stash Tea recommendation. I absolutely love the Double Spice Chai Black Tea. It has a huge punch of spicy flavor. I bought some online but can't rememeber the webpage right at the moment. I like rich flavors like the chocolate raspberry truffle black tea but I know they had a lot of fruit teas and samplers you could order. I'll check the tins when I get home.

Besides teas you could put fruit slices in water to help flavor it. Oranges, watermelon, lemons, and limes work really well for this. You could also add fresh herbs like spearmint or peppermint leaves to the water for flavor. The combinations are endless. If you like the bubbly-ness of pop you might try seltzer or mineral water mixed 50-50 with juice. I like mineral water mixed with cranberry juice.

I purchased some Celestial Teas this week end. I love the Country Peach and I love it. I still like a cup of hot strong tea with sugar or honey but for a break, these favors are good. I also got a box of Celestial sampler box. Just in time, the temp dropped and the wind has howled and a good hot cup of tea to sip on is really appreciated after being out doing chores.
