I've made skirts w/o a lining b/f, but never one with a lining.
Do I sew the lining to the skirt pieces and then sew the pieces together?
I'm thinking of making the lining a little longer than the skirt and adding some really cute lace to the bottom, so it looks like a petticoat. Any tips on doing that properly?
These are going to be maternity skirts! I'm really excited about getting them made. My pants don't fit..lol!
Thanks and much love!

I would sew them as separate "skirts" and then join them at the waistband. That way the slip will move on it's own. Your drape will be more natural and flowing.
