My ornament is finished!!!

Only things new in my life is I won a 25" LeClerc Dorothy (4 harness table top loom) last night and I've decided to get out of the milk soaps and lotion business to dedicate more time to my fiber arts.

Hi everyone,
I am still around!! Lots going on at the moment - we are selling our house, hubby looking for a new job, still deciding on schooling options when we move (fingers crossed!), still deciding where to live actually! It is a toss up between moving to where we want and worrying about a job or going where there is a job but we may not like so much. Oh decisions, decisions!! People keep asking me what we are doing and I keep on saying "I don't know". It's beginning to sound a bit silly!! I will try to get on more and keep you posted.
The ornament swap sounds great, but I won't jump in (for above mentioned reasons - all my craft stuff is all over the place). I should be getting one eventually when the journal travels back to me. After Mella, it was to go to Kathy (ktknits), then Amber, then Tasha. So I guess we have to wait and see if Mella still has it or not.
Best wishes all,
Jayne

I hope Mella still has it because I haven't gotten it yet!! But now that I know I'm next on the list I'll watch for it, and I'll try to get my thoughts together for my contribution!

Well, changed my mind on the ornament, so now I have one that is crocheted...but so beautiful (yeah, I'm bragging..just a little.lol) I think whoever gets it will love it. I gotta make another one for me too! Anyone else besides Cyndi finished yet?

hey Tammy,
doing good here. yesterday I worked nearly all day on transplanting items into the new large flower bed I am creating (with Naomi's help) by the back patio/french doors of our home. We planted about half a dozen rose plants and a couple hibiscus, and about 5 agapanthus plants and a large clump of iris. We still have about 8 or nine rose bushes left to incorporate into the garden ..then we have to weed block and mulch.
Then..I went thrifting on Saturday and found a great cage to hold the bantam hens that I intend to get in the Spring.
..and then have been working on creating a few things for the Christmas Swap exchange that Sunshine is hostessing.
But...I'm still here..and keeping a wee bit busy.
I'm hoping to get a few penny rugs cut out and ready to stitch for the Holidays for gifts.

busy (as usual!)

I'm wishing the frosts would finally end my garden! Still have plenty of peppers, turnips and swiss chard going!

Ordered a new (to me) 30" 4 harness table top loom. Should be here tomorrow!! Finished spinning, plying and dyeing about 400 yards of yarn (spun from grey & white romney with some merino added in - over dyed a dark forest green). This (and another 400 yards or handspun) will be sent to Canada to be hand knitted into a couple of tea cozies. i have a couple pair of socks to finish knitting and a funky hat to start knitting.

Had a cortizone epidural a week ago in my lower back. WooHoo! I forgot what pain free was (and didn't realized just how much pain I had been having) Praying this will last a good long while!

HI All-
I don't know if I am still on the list for things, but none of the swaps or journal has ever arrived to me! Are you all still communicating on yahoo, or just here now? Let me know if I am still on the list or not! Thanks Noelle

May your stitches never drop and your knitting always be cherished!

Holy cow girls! You have been busy. Y'all need that cape with the red S on it! lol

I've been putting together quilt blocks for a swap, making an ornamnet for this swap, doing some crocheting for Christmas gifts, making wreaths, gathering up my giveaway goodies from my blog, and now I am drying out some old clothepins that I bleached to make Angels with the kids. Tonight I have to bake cupcakes for Noah's 1st grade Fall Party, and then maybe I'll get to catch some zzzzz's. Hmmmmm. I think we all nedd one of those capes....don't you?? LOL Have a great day farmgirls! Hugs to all!

Hi Tammy, I am off work from today until Dec 31st! I am so excited! I am cooking a Christmas dinner tomorrow and then one on Christmas. I plan on getting caught up on MJF forum plus I hope to regroup for the new year. How about you?
