Margo,
Of course you are scared! And you are strong, positive and courageous. Some days will be good, some will be hard. Just do your best to take care of each day, one day at a time. You can beat this, one day at a time.

Hurray for all that living you have left to do! Accept that you need to dig deep and fight this, and also embrace the future that is ahead of you.

Praying for you tonight.

Warmly,
Pam

Margo,

You amaze me with your courage. Of course you're scared, being scared doesn't mean you aren't courageous! I will be praying for you. Thought you might like to hear about my husband's family. Both grandmothers, mom and aunt have all had breast cancer and all of them are alive and well.... so you can kick it too! Fight the good fight. And know that your farmgirl sisters are fighting with you, even if it is long distance hugs and prayers.

*hugs*

oh it was awesome being with the kids and grands tonite-ALL of them in one place and all getting along and -wow--there just are not words for how great the evening was!

had the talk with the eldest granddaughter-her question was "are you going to be ok?" her dad-my eldest-told her that i am too stubborn to die! i assured her that i am fighting this and going to win!

my daughter and daughter in law bought pink jelly bracelets for all of us so they could show support-how cool!

down side- the biopsy this week did not have enough "sample' so i have to have another one next week- this time i have to drive 90 miles away...poo.....

UGH!! So wish I could go with you and we could laugh all the way and then after the doctors, go shopping!! Please know that you are in my heart. There is nothing better on earth than have the whole family around and basking in the sounds of joy (well, maybe a 3yo is better-my favorite age-but not much better :-)Enjoy the holiday. Joey

Sorry to hear about needing another biopsy. Just when you think you know what to expect, things go otherwise. I am so glad to hear about your Christmas with you kids and grandkids. It sounds wonderful.

Mago-
I am so happy that you enjoyed great quality time with everyone- isnt it so nice (and sometimes a miracle too) when everyoen gets along? LOL
Sorry to hear that they didnt get enough of a sample on the biopsy.
Will continue to pray for you and keep you in good thoughts...just holler if you need anything from us!
Hugs,

Margo- you are not NUTS- you will need to surround yourself with friends and family- you will need that strong support group. How fast will you be able to re-locate? What will happen with your MA, having you been checking out the docs and the treatment centers? Do I sound like your MOM?? well I am a mom and I most important I care for you and want the best treatment to kick this!! Please let me know if there is anything I can help with- praying each day. Your docs in MI should be able to help you find great docs in your new area- they have the avenues, so tap into them and they will help!
Love to you and your family!!

LORI-THX!!! i needed that kick in the pants!
i'm not sure about the MA--it should be available to me there as well...there are excellent docs and treatment facilities-in abundance !!!!!!!!!!!!!!-there- i lived there 35 years-raised my kids there-other than a bunch of new shopping ctrs it is like the back of my hand!

my DIL is checking some rental properties for me this week-im doing what i can online-might make a quick trip back down alone (which means i can sleep at my kids') to pay rent and "stuff" but am really hoping to do it withiot that gas expenditure and be moved by end of january at latest..

there are some things i need to sell here but it's wrong time of yeara-lawnmower etc--so may ask a friend here to bear taht burden...
and i know you care and i so appreciate!!!!!

Margo,
I agree totally with Lori. You are not crazy. You need to be surrounded by people who will give you love and support. Ohio has fantastic treatment facilities and they can easily access your prior medical records from your present physicians. You know in your heart where you need to be and we are all there with you in spirit.
Hugs and prayers!
Kim
