Well I'm bummed! I haven't received my swap package. She has posted nothing on this site nor has she contacted me regarding delays etc.. The post office confirmed that my package was delivered to her a few days ago. Sigh! Hum....

You are the most thoughtful "Tea" Partner ever. I so enjoyed this whole experience. My daughter Alice was with me when I opened the package and her squeals of delight alone as each item was discovered would have brought joy to your heart. After reading the beautiful letter you wrote I so wish we really could have afternoon Tea together. Who knows...Texas and Louisiana are side by side, it could happen. I love the hand made cloth and the tea cup and saucer are just wonderful. Pink is my favorite too. I will have to watch Alice and Lily though. They keep trying to sneak into my goodies.

Thank you so much!

Well, I know everyone thinks they got the best tea party gifts, but I know I did! Debbie, you are the most generous, thoughtful swap partner ever! Look at the beautiful things I received. The first picture shows how beautifully packaged my box was! I found first, the great magazines to enjoy with a cup of tea and a scone, wearing my cozy fuzzy socks :) I have an absolutely darling box with a gorgeous teacup and saucer, a divine lavender sachet, the most adorable vintage tea towel, yummy teas, yummy scone mix and the most delicious chocolates ever (white chocolate creme brulee wedges if you can believe it!!! Thank you Debbie from the bottom of my heart for making my day....you are the best!!!

Much love and farmgirl hugs!

Oh Tammy you made my day, I am just so thrilled that you enjoyed your Tea Party Package, I had sooooooooooooooooooooooo much fun shopping for you. One of the boxes of Tea, the scone mix and the chocolate are all Colorado Made, I had to send you a little bit of the Mountains and was so thrilled that I found it all at a wonderful Antique Shop in Castle Rock Colorado an hour away from my house. Marilyn (mountainmomma) drove me as I still have trouble driving with my knees, so her and I had a wonderful Farmgirl Adventure picking our your Tea Party Treasures.
Thank you to for being a great Tea Party Partner, you and I have the same taste so it was easy and fun shopping for you.
Farmgirl Hugs,
Deb

This swap was so much fun, but it's driving me crazy because it seems like every store I go into in the last week has items I would have LOVED to put in Debbie's package! All of a sudden teacups and accessories are EVERYWHERE I go!!!!

Smiles,

I am planning another swap for us again in the Fall!!! We'll just have to be patient until then....maybe we could sneak a item or two through the year to our partners....what do you think!!!

Kayla... wow! what fun we had last night. The girls (Melanie 4.5 yrs and Kirsten 2yrs) were so excited to open the box and talk about the tea party we would have later that day. The girls were so excited to have their very own cups and plates. I loved my cup, saucer, and plate. Everything was so beautiful. Melanie wanted to make sure I told you the cookies were awesome. It was incredibly thoughtful for you to include the chocolate peppermint tea which was so kid friendly. Melanie loves her apron too although we didn't get very good picutres of it. She is currently struggling with both holding still and smiling nicely for cameras. She has a gorgeous smile as long as no camera is in the room. My husband didn't really understand why I was doing the swap and why I was taking so much effort in finding things for you until last night. I asked him to take a picture of the three of us having tea to show you and he must have taken 20. He was so impressed with how much all his girls were having fun and enjoying themselves that he took pictures from every angle. Thank you so much. The girls were already asking when our next tea party will be as they were sipping down their tea. Everything was so thoughtful and we really enjoyed (and have plenty to continue enjoying). Thank you so very much.

Emily I am so happy to see you three sitting down enjoying your goodies! I will show Kayla your post as soon as she is home from work tonight.

I have more goodies for the girls, shhish, don't tell them. I couldn't find some other things that went to the tea set, but as soon as I do they will be in the mail for them to enjoy!!! It brings back such wonderful memories seeing your little ones having tea with Mommy. Kayla and I would make a pretty English tea setting and have tea time at least once a week until my Lyme illness in 2005. But, I started having tea parties again two years ago with my friends and family at least one a year. I really enjoy the time together and all the pretty plates and cups and teapots we use!
In fact Sunday is Tea Party day!!! Yay!!!! I am really looking forward to it too!
Big Farm Girl Hugs,
Marsha & Kayla
