Has anyone made something from a Burda pattern?
I never have, but I have one for making a dirndl. It was 25% off , and I got the last one!
I tend to make size 34 European, but this pattern starts at 36. I don't really like being all crammed into a dirndl all day anyway, and I plan to wear mine for driving my Haflingers and similar outdoor activities. And maybe once in a while to wear to German class!

Should I maybe just take a bigger seam allowance in the bodice part, or maybe through the whole dress? Or leave it?

Thanks for your insight!

hmmm, is the pattern in 'inches' or centimeters? you might want to re-measure yourself in centimeters and campare to the pattern.
Let us know how it turns out & maybe post a photo as well,,,,

I have no advice, but I want to see pictures when you are done please.

Thanks for the input and encouragement, gals!
The pattern is Burda 7443. Keep in mind that the picture on the pattern envalope is much dressier/ fancier/ and should I say sexier than what I plan to make! I will proably do a longer hemline as welThe yardage requirements are not too great, which was also a boost- plus, the Burda is much cheaper than the Folkwear pattern, however nice that one may be.
I never seem to be able to post photos to this forum! But I will try, try again. I might make one out of as much fabric as I already have lying around here, first, then find something I like for outdoorsy stuff.I have a few skirts/ jumpers I wear for chores- thought this would be fun for my Haflingers!
The pattern does not give any measurements per size, but I know the smallest is one size up from what I usually wear. (36 and I'm a 34)

I might make my first one
