Cynthia,

Bless your heart. With all you have going on, it just isn't fair that others are "dumping" animals on your property! You are such a great person for trying to find them homes, it's more than most people would do. I wish I lived closer, I'd take that Husky pup! But, since I am across the country that doesn't help much. Are there any shelters anywhere else in the state? What about vets? Our vet takes in strays and adopts them out. I'm with Marly on this, it makes me angry that people dump animals. It is heartbreaking, mean, and cruel. It is also dangerous. Dangerous to the animals, and dangerous to the wild animal population. But anyway, I hope that you get this all sorted out. I have a friend in Chicago who is a vet. She is on all kinds of vet websites. Maybe she can offer some advice. I'll ask her.

For now, here's a big, virtual hug: (((((((((((((((HUG))))))))))))))))

Our daughter was riding her horse and came in and told me someone dumped a dog down by the chicken houses (about 1/4 mi from our home). She said they hurried off but that dog was chasing the car and keeping right up with it. Its been 2 days and I havent seen it so maybe they had a change of heart and took it back home. Hows that for a head in the sand thought?:)

That is what just breaks my heart is to see them drop them off and they run after the vehicle. Then they tire out just wait for them to come back, of course we know they arent coming back but that poor animal doesnt : *( They then sit there and wait for them to come back and usually get hit by a car or die from starvation.
