I need to go on a very restricted diet because I have just been diagnosed with severe food allergies. It is kind of Oxy-moorish; I own a small local, natural, organic food market and I can not even purchase crackers or chips that that are palatable. Sooo, I have to make mine. I am up for the challenge and journey that I am starting on. I have a food processor and mixer nothing super fancy but will do for now.
I will need be able to grind oats, nuts, rice and a few other grains into flour in small 2-4 cup increments.
Good blender; one that I can make RAW soups and smoothies with
Food dehydrator
Any suggestions on brands or model numbers? There is only my husband and I so I will not be making more then 2 or 3 servings at a time. Thank you for any suggestions.

I have an American Harvester Food dehydrator and have had it for years. It has been great, but make sure you get one that has a temperature control. I find the ones that are preset are too hot. I've done everything on this little machine and love it.
For a decent blender, you can't beat Oster. At least the older models.
Mine is a late 90's model that still runs like a champ. It has a glass 2 quart pitcher and stainless steel blades. Look on Craig's list for something similar or E-bay. The new models for most mid to low range blender models are all plastic these days, so I'll be super sad when mine finally does die.
Vita Mix & Blen Tec are the best ones out there. Viata Mix has a 7 yr warranty & is made in the US. Blend Tec has some commercial where they blend a 2x4 in their blender. Both are very highly rated.
