My husband made a hay trailer to pull behind the 4-wheeler. He shortened the tongue on an old boat trailer. It's a Montgomery Ward trailer! Do you remember Montgomery Ward?

I remember "Monkey Wards", what we used to call it. In fact, my dining room set came from there!

Did your husband have to do anything to the trailer to boost its ability to carry the heavy weight of hay?

Way to re-purpose an old trailer!
I remember Montgomery Ward. Did you know they still operate an online store?

Good for your hubby, I love repurposeing things, and YES, I too remember Montgomery Wards, I have a wood burning stove in my house that is original to my house from M.W.'s, and its from the 1880's, and is my only source of heat, works great, and hope to see or at least think it will last another 100 yrs or so...
