The idea is to make something wonderful out of yo-yos for your partner. Here are some examples of brooches, necklaces, etc.
The only rule is there has to be a yo-yo in it. Oh, and no yo-yo clowns! Take that to mean whatever you will.

Sign ups until 12/31, then I'll draw for partners, and you will swap addresses. Have your creations to your partner before February 1st.

I use the Clover quick yo-yo makers. I love Nancy of Clover. I've been watching her since I was a little girl. I love all the little clover gadgets.

Very Cute...Love the Pictures! If I wasn't doing the Hearts at the same time...I would jump in
and join. Maybe If you do another round...later. Love your ideas Trish and good for you for Hostessing.

Can't wait to see pictures of what people make.

Joy and blessings,
Peggy

I'm in....Looks like fun!! I do not do yo-yo's but have been wanting to learn...So the project can be whatever we come up with?....I like the brooch idea or something on a smaller scale. Will that be ok? Smiles, Beth

Beth,
I am most likely making a brooch. I just couldn't stop posting pictures.

I might want to do this...how many partners? I think I could do this..well, yes, I think, I could. Well, now, let me think about it. Yes, yes...I could. Maybe you'd better put me in. Yes, do that.

O I think I am in on this swap. I am doing the heart yo-yo swap. It was fun last time so I thought I would do it again. Let me see if i have this right. We do one round yo-yo project and it is swaped with a partner, or are we doing a project for each person involved?
Just need to know what I am getting myself into here.

I wanted to share some yo-yo projects I have been working on the last few mornings. The Dotee's bun is two yo-yos. Lesson learned on brooch, have the backside be a yo-yo, not lace, or you will have to reinforce it with another yo-yo or felt.

Count me in. I love making yo-yos although I do it the old fashion way without the helpful form. Years ago I made a doll bed yo-yo quilt and used a nickel as the pattern for the circle. It was beautiful when done but I don't think my eyes could do that small anymore. I'd like 1 partner please. Ohioann

I notice that proficient sewers don't use/like the clover forms. If I didn't use it, there would be blood on every yo-yo. I am an accident waiting to happen.
