This year, I started the Rixeyville Farm Girls in my little area of Northern Virginia, or more specific, the Piedmont Region. Yesterday was our 3rd meeting and while we have some great ideas when I send out emails to contact the girls, there are 5 of us so far, we always end up talking about so much more.
There is a friendship between us, each of us brings our own flair and fancy to the table, we listen to one another, support and talk. The laughter comes so easily for each of us and were not afraid to talk about things that are important to us or ask for ideas. I love the way we all are when were together, sometimes I have to sit back and just listen and watch, our little group is special, we have each other.
Thank you Mary Jane for the ideas to start our own groups. If I had not started to get your wonderful magazine from one of our farm girls, I would of never started on this beautiful journey.
