They did a story awhile back on a family who lived "off grid" using solar power. Those people had a big screen TV, microwave, the whole deal! The OTHER 99% of homesteaders don't live like that at all. Wanna bet they pick somebody for their homesteader of the year with plenty of the stuff that reflects their advertisers? The rest of us... not so much. Sad.
