I really enjoy your trucking blog. It is very interesting. I will be curious to see what you have in store for the cooking blog. Thanks for sharing.

Winona as a trucker do you know about the Burton oven I think it's called plugs inside a truck or car. Found one at a thrift store but no instructions and I'm hesitate to use it (thinking maybe I'd drain my battery etc.) JoAnn |

I've had one in the past and it worked well. Put your food in, scoot down the road and have good, hot food at the other end. I now have a micro that I plug into a big inverter. I'm too impatient! But, if it's a good oven, same as with anything else, be sure your car is running when using it. Unplug when not using.
Just to make sure, you are talking about the "lunchbox" oven?? I don't know if it would drain the batteries only being plugged in, although in an off position, I wouldn't take the chance. Poot happens when you least expect it. Also, clean really well before using. You never know....heh...
Thank you for reading and enjoying my blogs!!
