Waaaaahhh!!!
That beautiful blue spruce just had its leader on top pruned off! The tree is not directly under the power lines, but it close enough and has gotten tall enough that it needed to be done. We asked the tree guys to be KIND, GENTLE and THOUGHTFUL!!! They were . . and I'm thankful! I watched them from the kitchen window and while it was necessary and they were gentle I still cried!!!
I asked them for what they cut off which is about 2 foot tall . . I'm going to decorate it and have a little tree on my deck while there is still some life in it! When I get that done I'll post a picture of it. 'Twill make a nice little tree!

I received my wonderful mail art from Linda today. She has truly spoiled me with a surprise of all sorts of craft booty. She made me this wonderful Santa bingo card. Please Linda if you can, post a picture. I forgot to ask you in my email. I promise you one of these days I will be posting pictures, for myself. Thank You again,I love everything.

Thank you so much for the December mail art. I love the scarf with all of the frilly edges. What a great assortment of tea. The Wreath is too cool. I can think of all sorts of things to hang from it. Love the cookies. They are so good. Is there a way for you to email me the recipe?

Hey Moonshines, some are family, some are folks we didn't recognize, we digitalized the photos so making them into cards was the best end I could see for the actual photos. I am glad you like them and will use them. I went a little crazy and made a lot, didn't mean to run up your stamp bill! LOL Merry Christmas and happy new year!

Remember me telling you that the leader was pruned off the top of the BIG, BEAUTIFUL Blue Spruce tree?
Here is the top that was pruned off, made into a little primitive country tree. The cut end was just perfect to fit in the hole on our metal patio table. I put lights and a big plaid bow on it. Can enjoy the rest of the tree for the holidays a little bit longer.
I can tell the leader is gone, but it's a minimal thing and most people won't notice.

you cheerish and adore the Beauty of God's Creation all around you. Your heart did what God's Heart does...you took
the bad and turned it into Good and made it beautiful for all to see and enjoy.
