Hey ladies, My DH found this vine last week-
Location: Western Montana, small glacial valley West of Missoula
Found: Growing on two of our already dormant chokecherry bushes, about 100 yards from the house as the crow flies. We have had MANY frosty nights, some snow, etc- the vine is still green for the most part!
Berries: Sweet, pink, grow in clusters inside a single, bell-shaped leaf at the end of each vine tip
Leaves: paired along the vine

Has anyone ever seen anything similar to this? Berries are only found in the tip leaf, not along the vine at all. They are clustered, not single. It's stumping us and all our friends. Hoping someone has at least seen this before! Thanks!!

I think it's in the honeysuckle family, but I haven't found the right variety to match our vines yet... There are so many, after all! I'll figure it out eventually... Hopefully before DH goes mad with curiosity :)
