I have some tree onion bulbs and I'm trying to decide where to start them. I can't find any information on how they do in heat.
It makes a difference if I plant them in full sun, because Phoenix temps scorch a lot of plants in summer. The other option is putting them in a spot where they will get afternoon shade during the hottest part of the day but I've been using that trick for other plants and don't have many spots left. However if they tend to do alright in considerable shade I have a couple of spots I could use.
