So, DH and I are starting to make a habit out of seeing Willie whenever he comes to town. He's such a fun artist to go see. It's amazing to me how wide-spread the crowd is age wise, though. I mean, everything from kids to older folks! It's so very cool. We went and saw Willie last Wednesday, and while he's getting older, his smile and his playing STILL take you away!

I wish Elvis and Ray Charles were still alive. I would've loved to see them live.

I would love to go see him. Next time he comes, holler at me. I'll see if I can go up there.

JEALOUS!!! I've been to see Don Williams several times. He's my all time favorite artist. Never got to see Cash. Almost saw Loretta Lynn recently, almost.

Excuse the mess & the noise, my children are making happy memories

Willie is a favorite here at the farm, and MaryJane thinks he is just the cats meow! Click below to hear the story of how felted alive Willie came to be on Raising Jane. :)

Going to a Willie concert is a life long dream of mine. The day I met my ex-husband (1996) I was wearing a vintage Willie Nelson t-shirt and smoker shades. He always had to tell people that part when they asked how we met.

Did you know, Willie Nelson is a very big supporter of 'Habitat for Horses' in Hitchcock, Texas and he has adopted over 73 paints to live out their days on his ranch.
Willie is also on the Board of Directors for HforH....
& fyi, Toby Keith is on the advisory board of HforH.

DH and I saw him last October. He performed for almost 2 hours w/o a break. He is definitely an amazing singer and song-writer. I also admire him for his stand against factory farming and supporting family farms - including his concern about how animals are treated. I think he's the cat's meow too - he could sing me a song any time...
