I recently received a 'Pier 1' ad and in it, there was a Wine Carafe & 2 wine glasses.... each had a mini chaulk board on them... so you could wright the type of wine (Ex: Rose')on the carafe and on the glasses you can wright the name of the person drinking from that glass...
But the glasses & Carafe was bloody expensive so i thought,,,why not make my own.
Just hit the Thrift & buy a couple of wine carafes for a dollar or two and some wine glasses. Buy a can of chaulk board spray paint.... tape off the bottle/glass so that only a square is exposed...spray that area w/the chaulk board paint (several coats) let dry and then rub a piece of chaulk over the paint & wipe it off... Easy peasy & would make a fun gift accompanied with a bottle of wine.

I made homemade chalkboard paint and it worked awesome. And it didn't smell bad and I could match it to the colour of the room. And the best part of all it actually worked. lol.

Give thanks to yourself everyday for all the wonderful things you do!

I've got a can of leftover chalkboard paint a friend gave to me-I may just use it for this!

Now just imagaine adding little rhinestones around the edge of the chaulkboard & OhhLaLa!

I think it would be fun to do a set in a 'Winter Green or Burgandy' color for the Holidays.

hmmmm wonder if this could be done on simple ceramic coffee mugs....
ouch! my brain is hurting from thinking! lol!
