I've only seen 1 in my garage this fall. By this time, I've seen so many that I have permanent creepy crawlies. The girl in me is happy, but there's another part of me that's wondering if it's a sign of something. Anyone know or experiencing the same thing?

Oh My gosh Suzanne, We have loads of wolf spiders here. Although I did not see as many as normal this year either. One spider that did not return this year was the banana spider. I wonder if it is from the last 2 really cold winters we had here. Interesting hum, Maybe they will return for Halloween!!!! LOL

That's a little scary that there are less spiders. I've only seen two woolies so far.

So sorry! I ended up seeing a smaller one, but that's it. I was just thinking about that this morning. Hope that didn't bring them!

Yeah, I'm with Megan--they must have all come to Kentucky!!! I've had them in weird places--like the clear shoe thing I keep on the back of Violet's door to hold all her "little" items like puzzle pieces and things that have no container. One was just dead in there this a.m. Blech.

This is the time of year, though, I check all my "cubby" holes and between towels and sheets folded in the linen closet. Their favorite little spots to warm up! Last year, a ginormous one--like a mini tarantula, was in my heel when I went to put it on to leave for work. Whew, I was glad it decided to move so that I could see it!

I have looooads of them here. I am mostly getting garden burrowing spiders coming inside now. However, I am armed with hedge apples this year.

Oh dear. I am so sorry to say I have been hogging all the Wolf Spiders here at my house. We have LOADS of Wolf Spiders...happy to share them, LOL! Found two recently in my bedroom {{shiver}}.

We've seen lots of fuzzy caterpillars, too. The black and brown was about even. Will have to pay closer attention next time.

Do NOT send any my way. I can deal with a lot of bugs, but wolf spiders just freak me out! My chickens love to eat them and if I perchance see that, it makes me gag.

We have seen a few wolf spiders- my DH keeps all the Orb Weavers he finds on the property as pets (yes, I know). He catches grasshoppers and other creepy crawlies for them and feeds them. I'm so glad he doesn't do that with the Wolf spiders...

They are all under my computer desk and in my kitchen, waiting to dash out and run across my feet!!! Eeeeeeee! I am usually pretty good about catching bugs and tossing them back out, but those things turn me into a screeching sissy!

Anybody who wants some, can sure come and take mine!
