We had homemade sloppy joes. I had thought I had a can of Manwhich sauce in the cabinet, but it must have grown legs and walked away. Anyway, found a great recipe on all recipes.com and it was wonderful! Probably won't buy the can stuff again.

We had beans with ground deer meat in them from over the campfire, burgers, dogs, potato salad, and 5 kinds of desserts! There was also a smores makin contest that got out of hand. They were usin cookies instead of graham crackers when I left to take the baby home to bed!!

My house smelled so good! We had pineapple pulled pork, crock pot baked beans, potato salad and triple layer mousse cake. Not our normal Saturday night dinner...It was dh's birthday so the boys picked out the menu. |

Tonight, we had a big turkey dinner with mashed potatoes and gravy and green beans. I was going to smoke the turkey n my smoker, but I have a very sore throat and did not want to be out and also the smoke, so I ended up putting it in the oven, but that was okay, it smelled so good and took the chill out of the house. It got down to 24 degrees this morning!!!!

I made myself some "baked butter chicken" (http://www.kraftcanada.com/en/recipes/baked-butter-chicken-115977.aspx), jasmine rice & for dessert, homemade vanilla pudding! All that was missing was some vegetables & I didn't know what to cook for them :s. I'm hoping the vanilla pudding turns out. I've been wanting homemade vanilla pudding since I don't know when & finally found a recipe in a book from the library!
