I'd like to do something with a combination of apples and blueberries for waterbath canning. Anyone have any recipes? I've tried to find some online with no success so far!

Thanks, Carolyn Ann

The strong flavors of the berries are going to overpower the apples in whatever you do. You may consider searching for chutney or relish recipes...that would probably be your best bet.

I think you might be better off, if you have a freezer, by freezing the blueberries and apples.

Well, I experimented! I used a blueberry-rhubarb jam recipe, and it turned out great. You're right, tho . . . the blueberries do overpower the apples, but it did turn out good.

I'd made some chutney a couple days before, using the rest of the Empire apples I had. That turned out good too :-)

Thanks, Carolyn Ann
