All I managed to grow this year was herbs. Between the rain and the intense heat, Nothing did any good and the Horn worms got all the Tomatoes, I was too hot and tired to fight them this year! There is always next year to try again!

Peggy I want to grow some of those round zucchinis this year. Do you get a good yeild from them?
Are they as easy to grow like the regular ones are? Can you freeze them also? Anyways I wish I had a good camera so I could post some pictures of my garden also. I have a camera fund started. So hopefully I can replace my old one soon. Anyways love the garden veggie pictures!

Paula, that is my "flower girl". LOL!!!! I got her at a garage sale in the spring. I was going to use her for craft shows, but she ended up in the garden!!! I got her for $1.00. She is handmade of wood and painted with green hair and a real necklace and earring. I think she's cute, my daughter hates her.

Dorinda...I just use my cell phone camera! The 8 ball zuchinni are not as prolific as the regular
zuchinni...but they are fun. I suggest planting both. They are so easy to freeze. I slice them or
grate them for bread, or chunk them for stir fries. They have more meat in them and less seeds.

Janet...I also loved your lovely lady in the garden! Is there a story behind her?? She is so stylish!

blessings,
peggy

Heirlooms are my favorites too. Nothing tastes as good as they do. I had the Rose Blush
colored ones. I want to find some of the purple ones.
