Well, my right knee has gone from bad to worse. I've had very little sleep in the past 4 days due to severe pain and I'm having a lot of difficulty getting around on crutches being so near-sighted and all. I live up a long bumpy road on a farm and am having a lot of mobility problems due to the brace and the pain. It seems that the ligaments or what have you, don't want to work any more to hold me up in that knee. Well, I live on a farm and I kinda need my darned knee back, so if you could all send good thoughts, prayers and such my way tomorrow morning, I'd be most appreciative

Oh Annika, I'm so sorry - you sure need good knees on a farm, or anywhere for that matter!
I'll be praying for you sweet Farmgirl, please keep us posted.
Have you had "issues" with it before or is this a new problem?
Hugs and prayers,
Ruth

Please don't use your knee any more than you have to--I know that's easier said than done. I hope your visit to the dr. goes well.

Well, yesterday morning I saw the orthopedic doctor, and dear God, was he a jerk! But he didn't find anything wrong with my tendons or bones, so he sent me for an MRI and I should be hearing from him tomorrow or Friday about the results. Meanwhile I'm limping around, hurting like all heck and trying to get house work done! Thank all of you from the bottom of my itty-bitty heart, for the kind thoughts and prayers.

Hugs back at y'all

Annika, Sending good vibes your way and hope it is nothing serious. I have a bone disease and was walking on 2 collapsed hips for almost 2 years, finally had surgery, had both hips replaced and my right shoulder all within 16 months. I am now able to walk without a cane but will never be completely mobile anymore. I am just so thankful that I am able to get around and now I can walk a couple of miles. It has been 2 1/2 years since my last surgery. You will do fine.
