Welcome to a realm of real life down to earth problems!!

Format is simple:

Today, I have to make a fast trip to Lowes to pick up fencing in the farm truck I can't shut off, or I won't be able to start it again. Farm, it's my life!

Then I have to go repair the fence where Patty, our Longhorn heifer, got out and into the neighbor's yard where she overturned their burn barrel. And that is after I get the Longhorns back in their pasture where they belong.

Then it's time to clean the coop again. It needs a more intense cleaning before the cold weather sets in.

((made it home with my new fence!))

Today, before breakfast, I had to rescue a waterlogged duck that apparently forgot it knew how to swim. I toweled it off, snuggled it, dried it on a heating pad and under a lamp for an hour. I knew it was back to normal when it started panicking that I was a monster going to eat it whole again.

Now its time to pressure wash the manure truck, my life is so glamourous!

A little rain can straighten a flower stem. A little love can change a life.
