I am amused (and envyous of)at all you talented ladies who can, cook, bake & 'food create'....
I can not tell you how many times I have Channeled my inner "Betty Crocker" and still ended up making muffins from a mix! aacckk!
DO NOT tell my Oma(German grandmother).....
But every now & then I will bake some Lavender Scones just to pamper myself, and you know what,,, we all deserve a little papering every now & then....

My Lavender Scones topped off with Dickensons Lemon Curd,,, yaya, I know,,, I could make my own lemon curd if I weren't so lazy & had an abundance of lemons like I did when I Lived in SO. California... but I am OK with store bought, my scones & a nice pot of tea....
Pampered Me....

Don't go with the flow...you are the flow.

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Pampering yourself is what we dont do enough as women. Glad to hear it. And I too use same lemon curd. It's good stuff. Thanks for sharing.

Appreciate the little things, for they are not really that little.

YUM, now my oatmeal that's cooking doesn't sound nearly as appetizing :(
I am a scone lover from way back and would love your recipe, I have never tried a lavender scone!! As far as lemon curd... yeah, I live in NY - hard to grow lemons and Dickenson's is soooooo good!!

Well, we are scone lovers of Scottish ancestry here and make them frequently. My hubby makes his own lemon curd . . . but we have to buy lemons. They don't grow in SW Colorado either. YUM!!!!
