Oh this is SO GOOD!!!!!

I don't know if it can be canned or not, maybe in a pressure canner?

Our plan is to have this on grilled pretzel bread with smoked turkey (my husband just smoked), avocado and sliced tomato, yum!

That sounds amazing!!! My love of bacon is a strong one, so thanks for sharing. A few weeks ago, when my husband and I celebrated our anniversary in Louisville, at our favorite farm to table restaurant, Lilly's, my dessert was "Wild Turkey Bourbon flavored gelato with candied pecans and SUGARED BACON bits" Incredible salty, sweet, out of this world. I could have eaten the entire thing had I not eaten 4 courses previously!
