My husband has his resume out again. And is looking at job in a city about 3 hours away (sigh). I had nightmares when we moved 3 years ago that we had to move to TX. Not sure why he's looking at this job, and I really don't want to move. My dd just bought her horse and we are planning to bring home another goat next weekend. We really need prayer coverage right now.

Oh Kristina- I hope it all works out for you and Hubbby....It must be hard with him "willing" to look outside of your area and you not wanting to go anywhere. I think to some degree- everyone deals with that- one person willing to move and the other not so much. Hopefully an offer he cant refuse will come up nearby and you will all be happy! Prayers sent that it works out for all.
Smiles,

~Laurie

Where is he looking, Kristina, and can he commute? I know that's a weird thought, but my daddy did it for all the years he worked. When I was little, mom and I travelled with him or visted a lot, but when I got to be school aged, we bought a house and then he just sort of travelled around us while we stayed put. It always worked out nicely for our family.

I'm praying too Kristina. Praying for the Lord to give him a wonderful job right where you are (or at least no more than 30 minutes to drive :)) Also praying for His provision for you and your family.

He commuted about 5 years ago, with a 2 1/2 hour drive each way. We ended up moving for 2 years and moved again after that.

Kristina, I know that problem all to well. There's a natural sleep aid called Alteril. It has L-Tryptophan (like whats in turkey) as well as Melatonin, Valerian root, chamomile etc and it really helps you sleep. Being sleep deprived will not help your situation. Hope you get some rest.

Well....we talked and he's still going after this job. I'm so stinkin' stressed out about it, that I decided I need to focus on helping someone. So, on top of all that I already do, I'm knitting for charity. I just hope I don't run out of yarn, or I may lose "it."

Kristina,

I'll be more than glad to send up prayers. After being unemployed for 6 months (and after all the wonderful MJF gals praying!), I finally found a job with a 1+ hour commute. I've been at it a couple of weeks now; it's an "okay" job, but it pays the bills and I'll stick with it.

My husband has been unemployed also (for 8 months) and just today had yet another interview. This job would also be an 1+ commute in the opposite direction of where I work. He is still hoping for a job possibility (supposedly there is one) very near my job.

Like you, we don't want to move and we're trusting (or trying our best to) in God to provide. He knows our hearts, our desires and we are claiming his blessings!

Nothing is definite yet; your hubby is looking. He's not said anything definite and all it takes is one opportunity, and that could very well be tomorrow. Something closer to home may be near your doorstep!

Praying for you with a heart that understands!
Darlene
