I don't know if I pulled enough root to keep it growing on my property, but I may go back with a shovel - he he he! I found it on a country road that had not been mowed yet. My husband thinks I'm nuts! I just have to sweet talk him into helping me. Those plants roots are hard to pull out by hand, and we've had a lot of rain to soften the soil.
I know what you mean! Isn't it so pretty. I don't have the nerve to dig it yet. Maybe on our next road trip, I'll put my big girl panties on and go for it. I just got brave enough to harvest the queen anne's lace seeds from across the road.
