only a 4.2, which is small by California standards, I have experienced much larger over the years, but the animals always are nervous for several days after. It was centered in Newhall, which is about 20 miles south of me, as the crow flies, just a short rumble, with not much roll...just hope its not a pre-curser to a larger one...

Stay Safe- will pray that it done with for you! Here in New York last week we had our very own Earthquake and then good ole Irene. Glad I dont live near any volcanos! Lol.

Our office was shaking here in North Carolina from the earthquake in Virginia recently!
