Thank You CJ for a wonderful trip to Colorado! CJ sent me one of her beautiful aprons, a gorgeous wooden chest crafted by her husband made of local aspen, a beautiful wooden vase made by a local native american student, Anasazi beans, which are grown there, Rocky Mt. chocolates (YUM!), beautiful cards she has made using her photo's of the native wildflowers growing in her mountains, wildflower seed mix, a colorado magnet, wonderful postcards and wonderful notes describing everything and the country around her. CJ with your descriptions of everything it was a wonderful trip in my imagination. Thank You for sharing all your bounty.

You are sooooooo welcome, Julie. Actually the little vase is clay pottery.
And I received my "taste of North Dakota" box as well. Pancake mix, bread machine mix, elbow macaroni all made in her area, as well tasty sunflower seed spread. Honey from their farm. Prairie rose (ND state flower) lotion, a lotion bar, Mr. Bubble . . a ND icon, originally made there. ND bison spoonrest, chokecherry taffy, "Badlands Brew" coffee packet, lots of postcards and travel info/brochures, a cookbook written by her 81 y/o grandmother with lots of German recipes. Lots of other recipes, a lovely "narrative" letter describing the items and their origin, etc. The box was FULL and what a wonderful treat! My hubby loved it as well.

Marcie --- I LOVE MY PACKAGE, THANK YOU!!! I guess we think alike because your's has many of the same types of things in it and I sent it today. Sorry for the delay, I've been swamped with DH in bed and me trying to get ready for our freeze the last two nights. Anyway, you should have it sometime later next week. When it's daylight I will take a picture and post it. It's a wonderful selection. I love the cookie cutter as I have a huge collection of them and use them to make bunny cookies in different shapes (that is cookies for bunnies)! I am a big fan of Willie too, so thank you for the CD! In my college days we would turn up "Mamas Don't Let your Babies Grow up to be Cowboys" really loud because all my friends were studying to be lawyers and doctors, lol! My favorite food is Mexican so I can't wait to try the seasoning and I LOVE cornbread!! Really, you pegged me perfectly, THANK YOU! Now I am going to go read everything you sent me :)

I received my package from coaloha (Pam) from Arizona. She sent me a beautiful calendar, some fry bread mix and honey, dried peppers, dried cilantro and the cutest little rock that she drew a primitive sketch of a big horn sheep. Thank you Pam, I just love it all!
