I ordered something on Etsy on Aug. 12. Got a receipt from Paypal. It hasn't come and there's been no email that it was shipped by the shop. I sent two emails--one through either Etsy or Paypal and another directly and have heard nothing. When do you contact Paypal to get your money back. JoAnn

If there is nothing on their store about being out of town for vacation or family emergency I would contact Paypal. I had a similar incident happen on Ebay. Waited a month and I wrote a bad review. They were upset because they had been on vacation for a month. I let them know they should have notified people or had it written somewhere. How is a complete stranger supposed to know what the seller is doing?

report it to Paypal now and I would look on the Etsy site to see what can be done-they need to know about sellers who aren't delivering the goods.

This happened to me a few years ago on ETSY.
I let ETSY know, they sent the seller a message, and then she finally reimbursed me. I left negative feedback, as this seller needed to be held accountable and I wanted other people to know not to deal with her. She made excuse after excuse, and never sent my item, even after I waited over 2 months. So, what I didn't like, is that after I left the negative feedback, which wasn't mean, just honest, the seller then left very rude feedback on mine, and when I explained the situation to ETSY, they did nothing about it. I guess they don't know who to believe. The good news is, other people saw the feedback and emailed me and said the seller had done the same to them, and a bunch of people contacted ETSY about it, and she finally got kicked off. The neg. feedback she left is still on mine though, which I don't feel is fair. :(
