I am so sorry! I absolutely hate cancer. It's affected so many families including my own. My heart breaks for you as I know the intense grief that comes from losing someone you love at this time of the year.
Your family is in my prayers this day.

Penny, I am so sorry for what you are going through. No one should ever have to deal with this. My mom just passed away on Sunday and was buried yesterday due to lung cancer. Not trying to depress you more but I do know what you're going through, although she opted to not do the chemo/radiation as the MD told her it would not do any good (and I doubt she would've done it had he said it'll help). We were fortunate to have hospice come out as well, they are so awesome. Keep him as comfortable as possible, keep him as happy as possible. Enjoy all the seconds that you do have together and cherish every breath. I will keep you in my thoughts.

| we finally have some GOOD NEWS Dad got kicked out of Hospice because he has Improved to much for them to keep coming back, he has gained some weight back and strength he is even looking forward to ride his motorcycle this summer, he has an appointment with the docter this week to see whats going on they can't believe hes doing so well. What great news- thank you for sharing. I believe there is a higher power and when HE wants someone home HE will call. The power of prayer is amazing!! I'm so glad that he is feeling a tad bit better and has goals for the summer!! Take care and we will keep praying!

| We lost the battle Dad passed Sunday june 10th it was a 18 month battle I never want to see anyone go through that again.Mom and I were both with him when he passed. cancer is the cruelest thing that there is.October was to be their 50th anniversary.Thank you everyone for your prayers. |

| Penny, I am so sorry about your Dad. My Mammaw had lung cancer and lived for many more years after being diagnosed. She was always active and happy. I hope that your Dad has that same out come. I will Pray for you and him. He is already Blessed to have such a loving Daughter. |

Penny, I am so sorry for your loss. How wonderful you were with him through it all. He must have been very proud to be your father and grateful. I know you will show the same love to your mother at this difficult time. You are in my prayers. The pain and loss does lessen, but it takes a lot of time.
