                      | I have a freezer full of (given to me) frozen blueberries - picked, washed, and bagged in 4 C. ammounts. The deal is, the skins are tough and make them unappetizing. I made a cobbler the other day - peach and handfuls of random berries - blueberries, blackberries, raspberries - for added flavor. My husband complained about the texture of the blueberries - to the point he spit the skins to the side. They are THAT tough. What causes this? What can I do about it? These are farm grown, watered, and are wonderful fresh. Something about the freezing just makes them thick. Any ideas what do to with them now?
