Oh man. I never knew chocolate pudding was so easy! 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa, 3 tbsp cornstarch, and 2 cups milk (My milk was JUUUUST starting to smell "off", so I made it with that milk since it's cooked) and microwave it in 1 minute intervals until it's thick, then take it out of the microwave, and put it, covered, in the fridge. So easy and yummy! I've made some phyllo cups and whipped cream, so that'll be dessert tonight!

Thanks for the recipe Megan, I've never tried it in the microwave. (And I just got a new microwave last night because our other one was possessed - no really, it would turn on again after you hit stop and opened the door!) |

I wonder if I could just do this on the stove? Real slow I guess. maybe in a double boiler? It sounds so good I have to try it now and I have everything it takes to make it. Thanks, Megan.

Yep! I'm sure you could do it on the stove-since its just cocoa powder I wouldnt worry about it seizing-go for it! Just whisk it constantly to avoid burning!

Thank you Megan for the recipe and the memories. I can remember my grandma making homemade chocolate pudding and also chocolate pie but was too little to really pay attention to what she did. The part I remembered is how goooooood it tasted :)
