Have you all had/made Snicker Apple Salad? It is amazing! And since you are eating apples along with it, it is healthy...Right?

1 (8 oz.) container Cool Whip
3 apples, diced
3 regular size SNICKERS® candy bars, frozen

Mix together the Cool Whip and apples. Smash the SNICKERS® bars and add to the salad. Best if you allow to stand for a little while before serving.

Paula, I'm gonna have to try the Snicker apple salad. Snickers are my absolute favorite candy! Although I will eat pretty much anything made with chocolate. Oh, but snickers, there is nothing like it. And hey I agree you add apples and that makes it healthy! lol

Paula...my mouth...is watering. Thank you SO much for sharing that recipe. An apple a day keeps the doctor away, so it basically cancels out the snicker...i think...lol.

Tina, you're so right there is not one thing like a snicker. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.

Okay, I am the odd one out here! You see I can eat chocolate but I much prefer anything sour. Lemonheads are at the top of my list with chewy sweet tarts coming in a close second.

Tip for fall...........take a bag of candy corn and add a jar of dry roasted salted peanuts. Mix well and grab a handful.........tastes just like a Payday!

Anything with dark chocolate. Green & Blacks 70% organic dark chocolate is my current favorite. In fact if I can't find the dark chocolate versions of mine and hubby's favorites like turtles or 100,000 grand bars I will buy the regular and dip them in dark chocolate. I even dip coconut cookies in the stuff. I also toast nuts, walnuts, almonds, peanuts or whatever and salt them heavily and mix them with melted dark chocolate.

If it has sugar in it I'm in. There I said it. I've never met a candy I don't like. Some I only enjoy in small amounts (Licorice) and some I could eat my weight in. (Toffee) Chocolate is wonderful but I also like peanut butter and molasses candy. I even like turkish delight.
If it has sugar AND butter in it I'm a goner. (Toffee!) Groan! I need toffee!

I just went to the county fair today. I had a snow cone--yummy and cold. Then I had some yakisoba noodles and chicken. My favorite was the humungous elephant ear. Oh, so good.

my husband has been a chocolate "scientist" for years - he helps companies deelop chocolate products - and my favorites are Tootsie Rolls and Mallo Cups. Yum. I think I have tried eery bar on the market ... research, of course.

Has anyone tried deep fried Snickers (or Twinkies)? I think this year is deep fried butter, but that sounds terribly greasy! Sno-cone at the fair was cherry, but the best was the elephant ear. I get one every time I go. It was a fun time at the fair, but oh so very hot.

well I am a plain ol' chocolate lover... but it has to be hersheys, and it has to be COLD. I usually put my hershey bar in the freezer for 10 minutes before I can eat it.

I don't care for chocolate mixed with coconut or nougat, but I do love twix bars and kitkats, too!

Penny, oh my gosh!!! That sounds delightful :D are you able/willing to share your recipe? If so, please do!

Betty, I've had fried twinkies before, and I think I also had fried oreos this year as well. They were so warm, and goey, and perfect and probably at least 20,000 calories haha. Fried butter sounds...buttery? Lol. Not sure if I would be willing to try that one myself.

Dove chocolate is what I grew up on, and I'm so glad to know I'm not the only one that prefers cold chocolate over room temp!
