Yes- you read that right. We have officially adopted a puppy. She is a black and white English Shepherd. She is 9 weeks and so far without a name. Stormy, Stella and Sage have been suggested. What are your ideas?

Lisa- I haven't forgetten either- just was over whelmed! Now I will have a jogging partner in a few months. She is a bit pint sized right now. Yes she still has puppy breath! She is tiny! About the size of a cat!
It looks like we have settled on Serendipitous Storm or Storm and Stormy for short. It follows our S naming pattern, the Sky theme and it sums up the past month nicely! We found something wonderful out of something not so wonderful.

Thanks ladies! She was an angel today in the bathroom. Ate lots of food and did not make a single mess! She has only had too little piddle spots in the house which isn't bad and she is learning.

She has been officially name Serendipitous Storm. We for some reason, like to give long names in this house. She is called Storm or Stormy for short. But considering that we have had a horrible month and we have found something good out of the bad- Once the name was brought up- we had to use it.

The puppy has a lot more energy than she had on Monday. A day and a half of eating good food is really helping her a lot. The poor puppy was quite skinny when we got her. I am not sure if it is because her brothers and sisters were pushing her away from the food or if they weren't feeding her right. But either way I am thrilled that she is eating here and doing so well!

Thanks Linda! She sure is a sweetheart and melts my husband's heart. Nora loves her and they get along great. I still really miss my Sky dog, but you have to acknowledge the past- love it, and then meet the future or you will drive yourself nuts with grief and pain. Somedays I do better with that than others. :)
