Well, I have never had luck growing cucumbers until this year. Just picked 7 this morning! Unfortunately, they were marked wrong at the nursery and are not pickling cukes :(

~Can I still use them for pickles or relish?
~What are some recipes you use them for other than salads?

Thanks ladies!

Don't know about pickling, but I love a cucumber sandwich...on white bread, no crusts. (I don't discard...save for breadcrumbs.) It's actually delicate and fancy enough for a tea or brunch. Soften a stick of cream cheese, add garlic salt...1 tsp., and a cuke that's been peeled, de-seeded, and grated finely...and I usually drain just a bit so it won't be soupy. Mix, chill, then apply to bread or crackers.
