My salsa recipe calls for white vinegar but I only have apple cider. Can I subsititue without it effecting the acidity in the recipe?
It is proccessed in a water bath canner if that makes a difference

look on the bottle of cider vinegar, it should tell you the acidity, usually 5%, I just buy store brand and they are both 5% acidity. Ps. I'd rather use cider vinegar instead of white anyway :)

YES! I do it all the time. Heck I have used red wine vinegar as well. As long as the acidity is the same you are good.
