                      | It has been such a long time since I have been on the forum. I have had so many things going on in my life lately. I have some wonderful news to share. I just sold two of my mares to Israel. This is something that I have dreamed of being able to do (Be a international seller)from the time my first foal hit the ground 6 yrs ago. She is one of the mares going and he maternal sister is also going. What a great accomplishment for my farm. Maybe this will get my foot in the door to sell more overseas. The market here is very bad for selling and maybe overseas people are taking advantage and buying here. I was offered to also buy their mom but had to refuse the offer as I love her so and she is my best baby maker. We have started the process and they should be leaving in about another week and a half. I am very excited but my heart will be broken as Johara was my first foal born on my farm. I will miss her very much. Here are a few pictures of the girls. Will update on the process!

                      | Oh Jen!! Congrats!! That is wonderful! Johara is beautiful! I am so happy that you got an overseas purchase. That really seems to be where the SEA market is right now. In some ways, I am glad I won't be able to breed Tala for another couple years. Maybe the domestic market will be a bit better then. But also I am expecting that 90% of any sales I have will have to be overseas too.
Give the girls a hug and a kiss from me! I hope they have a wonderful and safe trip!

                      | WOW!! What gorgeous horses!! Letting go must be hard and they'll be so far away. Give them a big hug and kiss!
In one of your magazines you wrote about paper towels and I believe it was under Simple Solutions. I have been trying to find it again to reread it and don't remember what issue it was in. Is it on the website?

                      | Any chance you could get a couple vials of his frozen stud in the deal to try out for yourself? That would be my thought.

                      | Congratulations on the sale! As hard as it is to part with those beauties it is what you have been stiving for. Your recent post with pictures shows how sweet they are as well. You look happy with them, just being around such incredible animals would make almost anyone smile. Now be happy that they are your messengers. Keeping their mother who is tried and true was definately a wise decision.
Recently my SIL took me for a ride on one of his well mannered Tennessee Walking horses. I haven't ridden since I was a teenager and it reminded me of a what wonderful creatures horses are! You are so lucky!
 Best wishes!
