What a great idea Cyndi! And it is good to caution us- I know I can get excited about an idea and run headlong into something I am not totally prepared for. And with horses- especially ones as big as a draft animal- that can not only be foolish, but dangerous as well.
We buy wormer from Farm & Fleet & my husband Paul takes care of their hoof trimming. they're 'barefoot' since they rarely travel on pavement of any kind. Eventually, their teeth will need to be floated.
By far the biggest expense is hay to keep them fed.
How do you get the work done?
