well .. it won't look much like a 'barn' anymore though! we're having the inside of our barn finished off inside .. so that my three 'critters' .. hank, cabin and creek .. will have a place to just hang out! and lots of good storage in the upstairs for all our camping gear and winter clothes and such. got a heater and air conditioner to make it useful year round.

not too many more projects left to do on the farm t'il it's pretty much like we like it. oh yeah!

Congratulations! Sounds like a great addition, but you may have to take on another project soon - a little playhouse for the grandbaby girl to "live" in when she visits....! :)

Take photos and let us see your new barn!

i'll take some photos of the barn 'in process' sometime today ... they just put 'furring strips' between all the 'boards' on both the barn and the 'dogtrot attachment' between the two cabins ... to keep 'critters' from nesting between the boards. we had lots of those big BEES hiding out in there before the strips went up .. still have to 'repaint' the barn and the 'dogtrot'.

i would adore a little log cabin in the woods for lucas and sofia to play in .. and i still want one of those wonderful 'platforms' to put a 'semi-permenant tent on tucked somewhere at the edge of the woods too!

Smile... lucky 'critters', Frannie! It sounds lovely. Now I need to go look up your latest postings, since I haven't read anything from you for a while! I've been missing you...

How fun, Frannie! It really started me thinking that perhaps I need a separate place for my "critters" to go and hang out, too! 'Can't wait to see pictures...

XOXO, Libbie

Hi Frannie,
It sounds wonderful. I bet your grandbabies would love a miniature Cabin Creek cabin to play in.

Hello,
The barn is Beautiful as is the rest of the house and property. Thank you, Frannie and Hank for the awesome tour and wonderful conversation. We both loved your place and your hospitality. Willie and I left feeling like we had always been friends. We look forward to meeting with you again.
