Our 2 and 1/2 year old, Violet, is watched by her Nana (she calls her Nina) on Tuesdays. Nana likes to have a glass of wine in the early evening and drinks some sort of wine in a box
Last night, I stopped at our local party store to buy my husband his favorite beer for this birthday dinner. We passed by the boxed wine aisle and my daughter started pointing and saying loudly, "Lut Mahmee, Lut! Nina, Nina!!!" while pointing to the large wall of boxed wine!
I had to laugh--how observant, and then I had to wonder, just when does "Nina" get started in the afternoon???!!!!
My SIL is very difficult to be around (that is such an understatement!!!!!). My daughter was at the table coloring and the page asked her to draw a joyful face. She looked up at me and told me that SIL needed more joy in her life. LOL
Kids say HILARIOUS things!
