I am searching on-line, but cannot find an easy, needle tatting edge for a straight edge hanky. Anyone have a site to suggest? I found free patterns, but I am new to this, so I need one with good instructions etc.
Thanks! I will check this out later. I need to ska-doodle to the dentist - two more kids getting a cleaning this morning. I found a free pattern for the scalloped edge hanky, but I ordered the straight edged one.
I dunno if you can find them online or not. But you may be able to find them at your local antique store or, esty or ebay. But if you can get your hands on copies of The Modern Priscilla Magazine you will find lots of tatting, crochet and knitting patterns. It's a vintage magazine though that ran from the 1800s to 1930s I believe.
You will need to have a cup of tea with you, so you can take your time and search for what you want. This site has tremendous amount of wealth of patterns!
