I too am very excited to start this quilt. Slowly over these hot summer months, I have been purchasing my fabric, as I knew it was coming up. I am so gratiful to you Darlene for always keeping us posted in that way. This weekend I will get my background fabric, then off I will go to the sewing room! Thank you all for these wonderful exchanges!

Just checking my calendar....It was a hot weekend...Humid...Muggy
Happy thought....September 23rd is the first day of autumn. Less then 8 weeks away....Then I can start complaining about the cold and snow.

Starting mine tomorrow, but that means they should be in this coming mondays mail to you! :) This will be fun! I have a smaller 9 block quilt made in a design similar to this that i made twenty years ago. The background is an ecru embroidered texture that was the tablecloth at our wedding and the leaves some favorite debbie mumm fabric that was fall themed and oh so popular back then, lol. I still love it and it graces our table top each fall.

mine should be there tomorrow for sure! Sent them priority yesterday. (lol, the road construction guys blocked us in monday and we couldnt leave the house... at least they didnt goof up our water or cable again!) :)

There are pics back a few pages. We are doing a year long monthly block swap if you are interested. October is Halloween or Fall and November is Thanksgiving. You won't be disappointed. I live about an hour from you. I was just at the American Idol concert in Wilkes Barre. My son went to Wilkes years ago so I was up that way alot then. Hope you might join us.
