I am so excited! There is a horse resue farm about 7 miles from us. They are having an open house this Sat. I just called and the guy said they have about 30 horses from ponies up to Belgians. They want people to come groom them and ride them and just love on them. Help feed them and learn how to care for them. All 3 of my granddaughters just LOVE horses. And I will have all 3 this weekend. So we will be going to the open house. And probably will be volunteering when I have the other 2 grands and then through the week with Kansas. AND they also adopt out the horses! So maybe, sometime down the road when we are more able, I would love to get a small horse for the kids.

ANyway, so fun and exciting! I can hardly wait to go now.

Me too! I always said they should bottle horse smell. I love to stand next to a warm horse and smell them. You could come help too, Connie.

Sounds like Kristin the universe gave you a gift just when you really needed one. Hope this puts your mind in a different spot and enjoy that horse smell. Today I smell a bit like a billy - clipped two the of billies after all this rain and humidty... Lovely smell but like you it is our loves so we put up with it.

Have fun
