Soem of you may know what I have been through with my oldest daughter. I now have her youngest daughter with me. It's a long story so won't bore y'all. But she really needs prayer so bad right now. She was with a guy who beat her horribly last night. God sent an angel who helped her and she is now at the hospital getting checked out and x-rayed and all that. She will be going to a battered women's shelter. She really needs help. She called and told me all this today and I told her I cannot help her because I am way out here in the country and she needs to be in town close to places that will help her. The lady that picked her up is a Christian and I told her she has got to know of places there for her to go. And she did. I have learned to step back and let her think. And she can. So anyway, she is in God's hands right now. I have let her go and left Him in charge. But she needs lots of prayer to get her through this. Thank you all so much already. I KNOW prayer works because it just did.

Prayers sent and will continue. I threw one in for you too. You are amazing and strong. Doing the right thing is sometimes the harder thing. Letting her make decisions on her own with your support of that is the best thing for both of you. God's hands are big and he has a plan. Rest in that.

Thank you Diane. She does need strength for sure. She sounded really good today when I talked to her, considering what she had just been through. How is your daughter doing?
Yes, Inge, she is the same one I wrote about on another poat about a month or so ago. She has been a mess lately. I had just prayed that the Lord would open her eyes to what she is doing and the life she is loving. Sometime I am amazed at how fast He works! I am thankful she is alive. And that He sends angels to help us.

Thank you all so much. I have not heard from her today. Her phone was about out of power and I don't think she can have calls there. She can call us though. So I hope she calls to let me know what's going on. This place she's at will help her as long as she'll stay and want help. My mother worked at a place in S. Ga. called Safe Haven and they really did alot with those women. She was there several years ago and did well til she met a guy and screwed that all up. That's her main problem. Guys. And she always attracts the lowest low life losers there are out there. So if she could just see that she can make it on her won WITHOUT a loser she will be fine. She's just never gotten to that place yet. But we are praying she will one day. I will also let her know there are some good prayer warriers praying for her.

Kris,
My heart is breaking right now. I wish I was there to give you all a big hig. My goodness, what you have all gone through. I hope she get's better and stronger every day. You are such a wonderful person and grandmother to look after your granddaughter like you are doing. Know that you are thought of and cared about every day and if there is anything that I can do, please let me know. Will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers and please keep us updated on how everything is going.

Thanks Connie and marcy. I just love you guys. This is what keeps me going, I do believe. Just knowing that all over this wonderful country of ours, there are such amazing women that will pray for us. I am trying to keep Kansas busy with little things. That helps.

Sending prayers that both you and your daughter find the continued strength you need. So important that you are there to teach your granddaughter the lessons about self-worth that her mom is trying to learn. I think it was yesterday that Kansas said something about when she has a botfriend and he hits her or yells at her and I just told her that she would NOT have a boyfriend like that and she needs to get that out of her head right away. And today she was in the back seat with a pretend phone talking to someone telling them that the bills were all in his name and he needs to pay them. I asked her who she was talking to and she said her boyfriend. My goodness, how much has this poor child heard? I am so upset at her mother. She is married and he is that way. He would get all mad when she asked him to pay the bills. So there is so much to undo in Kansas' life and her way of thinking. I keep telling her that God has one man for her and He is already getting him ready to be a good man just for her and no one else. It's so sad but there are way too many kids like her too. And way too many little boys who already are headed for a life of beating women.

Kris, There is time to correct her misconceptions about life, relationships and her self esteem. You are already do much to help with that. She may have been unlucky but she ht the jack pot with you.

I just got a call from my daughter. She sounds good. She's at the women's shelter. She talked to Kansas for a long time. She will be filing charges against that guy when she can get a ride over to the police station. She will be staying there though. So I hope she will do what they think is right for her.

Well, I have been talking to her the past several days. I might be going to see her with her 3 kids tomorrow. I also just got a text from her husband saying he wants me to have all the birth certificates and SS and ID cards. ANd some other things. He said he owed me an apology for blowing up like he did that day. He's up to something, I am certain. He would not do this if he wasn't. He is very coniving. Something must have happened. But I will go get those things.

Gosh Kris! I thank the Lord that your daughter is still with us. I am SO SORRY that she is dealing with this and that poor Kansas has experienced so much. It is NOT too late for you to instill what is right. I am thankful that she has you for a grandma :) You are a blessing to her I'm sure. I am praying for your daughter to realize what is needed in her life and that only the Lord can truly bring her peace, joy and healing. I am praying for the Lord to grant you comfort, strength, and wisdom, and discernment when dealing with her husband. Who knows Kris, maybe he has changed. Proceed with caution nonetheless. Keeping you all in my prayers!

I am taking Kansas to be with her mom today. It's a long story. But I do believe she will be betteroff with her mom right now. So please pray for this precious little girl. She is such a socila child. Loves people and loves to be around them all the time. She is so friendly and loving and kind. And way out here in the middle of no where, there are not very many people. Where H is living now there are about 10 other kids and some her age. So she will be busy making new friends and doing lots of fun things. She will be in a pretected place away from danger. And she will be with her mom. That's the most important thing right now. I know she will be ok there. But please remember them both. And I thank you all so much for praying for me through all this. I sure have needed it and will still.
